Sedentary Time spent clots blood, a large waistline, higher blood sugar and insulin, generally poor physical functioning, and even early death. As per the new study sitting for long durations is as dangerous as smoking. Researchers found the link in 43 studies that looked at sitting and nearly 70,000 cases of cancer. They say that it is better to walk for 5 minutes after every one hour of work, sitting.
