The opposition parties have expressed their disappointment over the Telangana's maiden budget which was presented on Wednesday in the state legislature by state finance minister Etela Rajender. Speaking to media persons, former PCC chief D Srinivasa said that the Telangana government has presented the maiden budget on the very first day of assembly session, which has never happened in the political history. Similarly, BJP MLAs have also faulted the budget saying it is directionless. They warned very soon they will launch agitation against the government and drag the ruling party leaders to public court. On the other hand, MLAs of TRS cadre have heaped praises on the budget.
