Guv's speech is full of half truths, complete lies: Jagan

Hyderabad, March 7, 2015:Calling the Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan's speech in the joint session of AP legislative assembly and council as pack of half truths and complete lies, YSR Congress Party chief and leader of the opposition Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy asked the Governor to clarify whether it is half truth or complete lie that farmers have voluntarily given their lands to the capital city construction. In a chit chat with media persons after listening to the Governor's speech in the joint session today, Jagan Mohan Reddy said most lands in the capital region are 3 to 4 crop yielding lands and it is not correct for the government to convert them into concrete jungles. YSR Congress Party stood by the farmers on humanitarian grounds, he said, adding that his party will continue to stand by the farmers in ensuring justice for them. Attacking the Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan, Jagan Mohan Reddy said the actor has been changing his stands frequently." He said something day before yesterday , yet something different yesterday. We don't know what he will say tomorow," said the YSRCP Chief , taking a dig at the actor. Reacting to the implementation of GO 22, he objected to the government giving 22 per cent excess tenders to the contractors on Patti Seema."Government is implementing a GO kept in abeyance by the Governor. More than Rs.20,000 Cr is involved in this. It all smacks of corruption."
