TTD ropes in TCS as technology partner
Tirupati,Feb 25, 2015: Software giant TCS has become the technology partner for TTD. Disclosing this to news persons here on Friday after a lengthy meeting with the company's CEO Chandrasekhar, TTD Executive Officer D.Sambasiva Rao said TCS will look after all technology operations of the TTD henceforth. "All our online activities including the operations of E-Darshan and current and advance booking of the temple services will be handled by the TCS," Sambasiva Rao told journalists. The EO said all temple administrative matters including the online publications and web site maintenance would also be looked after by the TCS. Thousands of pilgrims visit the famous temple every day. According to TTD, over 2.26 crore pilgrims visited the temple during 2014. The overall revenue of the temple during 2013-14 was Rs.2,263 crore. This is likely to be Rs.2,401 during the current financial year.
