Chandrababu orders officials to take steps to reduce accidents

Hyderabad, Feb 5, 2015: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu held a review meeting with the top officials here today over the increasing number of road accidents in the state. He asked the officials to erect speed brakers wherever necessary and take action against those driving vehicles without valid licences, beside repairing roads. The Chief Minister directed officials to siege vehicles which are not in condition and take severe steps against those driving vehicles with over speed. Chandrababu expressed concern over the increasing number of accidents and loss of lives in the state. He has particularly inquired about the accidents in Krishna, Guntur, Chittor, Vizianagaram and Kurnool districts.
