40 Tirumala devotees injured in road accident
Tirumala, Jan 11, 2015: 40 Tirumala-going devotees were injured , most of them belonging to Rajkot in Gujarat, when two RTC buses dashed against each other on the second Ghat Road of Tirumala in the wee hours of Sunday. The injured were rushed to Ruya Hospital in Tirupati and the condition of some of them is stated to be serious. Some of the injured said that the negligence of the driver was responsible for the accident. Some Tirmula devotees tried to attack the driver at the hospital but police intervened and prevented them, according to reports.
