Six held in TRS leader Tammineni murder case

Khammam, August 18: Police took six persons into custody over their involvement in the murder of TRS leader Tammineni Krishnaiah, in the early hours of Thursday. A2 accused Ramzan, A4 accused Ganji Swamy, A5 accused Nukala Lingaiah, A6 accused Bodapatla Srinu, A7 accused Nageshwar Rao, and A8 accused Ellampalli Nagaiah were arrested. The main accused A1 accused Tammineni Koteswar Rao and A3 accused Jakkampudi Krishna are absconding.
 
It should be noted here that TRS leader of Teldarupalli, Khammam rural mandal, Tammineni Krishnaiah was murdered by his rivals at Teldarupalli village in the early hours of August 15. 
 
Krishnaiah’s family members and villagers alleged that the victim’s brother Tammineni Koteshwar Rao has plotted to kill Krishnaiah. The followers of the deceased attacked Koteshwar Rao’s house on the same day. 
 
Based on a complaint by the son of the deceased, police filed case on eight accused and searching for them.
