‘Major’ hero Adivi Sesh criticises RGV for exploiting Mumbai attacks

Hyderabad, June 14: In an exclusive interview with Tollywood director and producer Tammareddy Bharadwaja, actor Adivi Sesh said that director Ram Gopal Varma, popularly known as RGV, had exploited Mumbai Attacks commercially. “His movie ‘The Attacks of 26/11’ was like a normal commercial movie without capturing emotions,” he stated.
 
Sesh said that it was not a genuine attempt to show reality to people. “I did not like the film but I liked the speech delivered by Bollywood actor Nana Patekar,” he mentioned.
 
The actor said that they wanted to show hope in ‘Major’ film. He also explained as to how NSG commandos rescued hostages in a difficult situation. Meanwhile, megastar Chiranjeevi hosted a lunch for Major team and appreciated them for making a good movie. Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and produced by Mahesh Babu and others, Major flick released in theatres on June 3. The film is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan.
