CID case: AP High Court gives relief to former TDP minister Narayana

Amaravati, May 26: The Andhra Pradesh High Court passed an interim order on Thursday directing the CID officials not to take further action against former TDP minister Narayana in a case related to alleged irregularities in land pooling for Inner Ring Road. High Court judge Justice K. Manmadha Rao adjourning the hearing to June 9.
 
The AP CID police registered a case against 12 including Narayana, who is also founder of Narayana Group of educational institutions, realtor Lingamaneni Ramesh, LEPL, Ramakrishna Housing Private Limited, Heritage Foods, government officials and private persons based on the complaint of YSRCP Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy.

On May 11, the police arrested P Narayana in a case pertaining to SSC question paper leak. He was produced before the local court. He got a bail on a surety of Rs 1 lakh. The TDP alleged that a false and baseless case was filed by police against Narayana.
