Adventure Club of Telangana leaves for Uttarakhand
Hyderabad, May.20: Tourism Secretary B Venkatesham today said that an eight member team of Adventure Club of Telangnaa will be leaving for Uttarakhand to unfurl national flag and a flag of Telagnana State picture at Mount Ruthgoura at Utharakhand on June 2 to mark Telangana State formation day. At a program in Secretariat here Venkatesham flagged-off the team as part of Telangana tourism. He said that the team will scale 5819 metre Mount Ruthgoura at Utharakhand on the occasion Telangana formation Day on June 2. The club has so far took up similar adventures including one in Jammu and Kashmir by unfurling the national flag at Stock Kongri mountain in 2015 and did so at Mount Narb in Himachal Pradesh in 2016. This is third time the Telangana State is encouraging a similar event to scale at Uttarakhand he said. The club manager Ranga Rao and the team were present.
