Two Bedroom Houses will be allotted on women’s names: Talasani

Hyderabad, May.20: Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today visited Bansilalpet division in his constituency and interacted with locals on the allotment of houses under the prestigious two-bedroom facility for the people, who have been residing in various localities for the past 50 to 60 years.

At Bansilalpet division, the minister interacted with people on the allocation of houses at Srilanka basthi, Potti Sriramulu Nagar, CC Nagar, Chacha Nehru Nagar bastis. “The government will be providing housing facility at 560 sq yards space and help the poor to live with self-respect without spending a single rupee and there was no second opinion in this regard.

Stating that house possession certificates will be made available to avoid irregularities, he said the locals should check with the list of beneficiaries to be prepared for the allotment whether any outsiders are intruding into the scheme. The actual beneficiaries, some of who, vacated the slums due to collapse of their huts will be included into the list of beneficiaries, he said. The selection of beneficiaries will be done in a transparent manner and there would be no room for any sort of mischief, the minister said.

A total of 139 houses will be built for Srilanka basti and Potti Srriramulu Nagar basti, he asked the locals of CC Nagar basti to get photographs in front of their houses. The people, who are still staying in the bastis, should vacate their dwellings by June 5 and help the officials to construct the houses at the earliest, he said. He made it clear that all those who have been residing there for a long time will get the houses without spending a single rupee by the TRS Government.

Those who have recently shifted to rental houses after staying for a long time can also get the benefit and there was no chance for duplication, he made it clear. Srinivas Yadav said the government was providing permanent shelter of double bedroom houses to the eligible women in the slums and make the twin cities free from such areas. The officials will conduct a survey on May 28 and the beneficiaries should get photographed in front of their house sites, he added.
