CPM leader meets Pawan Kalyan for poll tie-up ?

Hyderabad, May.11: Political atmosphere in the two Telugu  states is steadily warming up as various parties are engaged in chalking out their strategies already for the  2019 elections.

Besides each party is busy planning ways and means to attract the electorate, efforts are also being made to strike electoral alliances with like-minded parties. As part of this exercise, the CPM State Secretary Veerabhadram today called on Film Actor and founder President of Jana Sena Party Pawan Kalyan.

            The CPM seemed to be keen on floating a third alternative to the ruling parties in both Telangana and AP States. Thus the meeting between the CPM and Jana Sena leaders has assumed importance.

            It might be mentioned here that Pawan Kalyan, who had supported the TDP-BJP combine in the last elections, is cut up with both the parties especially on the issue of special category status to AP. Also he has started taking up various public causes especially concerning the farmers and remunerative prices for farm produce.

             The Jana Sena President also  declared that his party would enter the electoral battle in 2019. Thus the meeting between the CPM leader and Pawan Kalyan has attained significance. It is understood that both had discussed about the possibility of jointly taking on both the governments on various public issues.
