Jagan bail review case: Court reserves order

Fri, Apr 21, 2017, 08:11 PM
Hyderabad, April.21: Arguments were over in  CBI's Petition seeking YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s bail cancellation. The CBI Court has reserved the verdict for April 28.

Jagan Mohan Reddy has filed a counter in the Court for the dismissal of CBI's petition and seeking permission to visit Newzealand along with his family members. Senior advocate Niranjan Reddy argued on behalf of Jagan Mohan Reddy and Surender Rao on behalf of CBI.

The CBI counsel argued that Jagan violated the conditions and hence the Court has to cancel the bail. The CBI counsel further argued that Jagan violated the condition of not to influence the witnesses. CBI argued that the Jagan owned Sakshi TV channel telecast the interview of the government’s former chief secretary Ramakanth Reddy. On the other hand, Jagan counsel argued that Jagan has no relation with the management of Sakshi Television and with the interview of Ramakanth Reddy. The counsel also urged the Court to dismiss the CBI petition. The arguments were held for four hours in the CBI Special Court.

The Court reserved the verdict for April 28 after hearing both advocates’ arguments.
