TTD’s Mobile App wins hearts of Devotees

Tirumala, April.16: To make the darshan, e-hundi and e- donation process more transparent and handy for devotees of Lord Venkateswara, the new mobile app, “Govinda tirumala tirupati devasthanams” launched by TTD won the hearts of pilgrims. The app which was launched by TTD on Telugu New Year’s day on Ugadi, on March 29 provides the booking of Rs.300 ticket, e-Donation and e-Hundi in just three clicks on the mobile.

            TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao said, the temple management is trying out all the ways and means to provide the best possible services to its pilgrims with more transparency and speed. “Our intention is to provide all the amenities to pilgrims in a hassle free way. Our IT wing along with TCS have brought significant changes in our most ambitious “Digital Tirumala” online booking system in the last one year and a half years. Meanwhile this mobile app facilitates the pilgrims to book darshan and offerings to hundi and donation with just three finger clicks. The pilgrim can download this app through TTD official web site, Google Play Store, Apple Play Store.

TTD EO Inspects Queue Lines

The summer vacation pilgrim rush reaching its peak occupying every inch of Tirumala, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao and Tirumala JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju inspected the queue lines and compartments at regular intervals on Sunday.

The EO inspected the Divya Darshanam Complex meant for foot path route pilgrims and monitored the facilities being provided to the pilgrims and the movement of lines. Tirumala JEO who did late night inspection on Saturday and inspected the Sarva Darshan and Divya Darshan lines on Sunday and instructed the Annaprasadam and Health wing officials to provide food and water at regular intervals as per schedule.

            Meanwhile over 2500 Srivari Sevakulu and 500 scouts and guides have been rendering services to pilgrims in queue lines, luggage centres, crowd management inside temple, laddu counters annaprasadam, VQCs etc round the clock.

            Health Officer Dr Sermista, VGO Ravindra Reddy, Special Officer Annaprasadam Smt Chenchulakshmi and other officers were also present.
