Hyderabad, April.3: Telangana TDP working president A Revanth Reddy today asked the State government to prepare an action plan for welfare of Vaddar community, which was neglected during united Andhra Pradesh.
In an open letter to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Revanth Reddy wanted an action plan be prepared for the welfare and development of Vaddera community, which is socially and politically backward. He also demanded inclusion of t Vadderas community in ST list as was before 1972. This community was included in BC list in 1972 without proper development and they were subjected to injustice by upper castes.
The TDP leader asked the government to give an opportunity to this community by appointing its leaders in nominated posts, special quota in double bed room schemes and a Vaddera community hall in every district headquarters and hostel facility to Vaddera students.
