Nag not to compromise on quality of his sons’ films

Akkineni Nageswara Rao, one of the pillars of the Telugu film industry, was responsible for its shift from Chennai to Hyderabad. He is one among the few who had established and build the Annapurna Studios. He remained an actor till his last breath and had produced several films. Not only that he made one of his sons Venkat as a producer and another son Nagarjuna an actor and made his as his heir.

After ANR, Nagarjuna is looking after the Annapurna Studios and also their banner. He had also been producing films on the same banner. Nagarjuna’s sons Naga Chaitanya and Akhil have also entered into the glamour industry. However, they failed to get adequate break as artistes. Being a shrewd businessman, Nagarjuna has decided to establish the careers of his sons and he did not want to take any chances to get them the adequate breaks.

He is producing two films, one with Naga Chaitanya ‘Rarandoy, Veduka Chuddam’ in the direction of Kalyan Krishna and another film with Akhil under the direction of Vikram K Kumar, who gave them a hit like ‘Manam’. After watching the rushes, Nag reportedly told Kalyan Krishna to re-shoot some of the key scenes. Similarly, he told Vikram not to compromise on the budget and sought a quality output from him. The businessman in him disappeared and father has come out and he realised that building the career of his sons is most important than anything else.
