Rs 10 cr for action scenes alone for Akhil#2
After so much of dilly-dallying and after listening to so many stories and refusing several directors and story-writers, finally, Akkineni Akhil had compromised to do a film in the direction of Vikram K Kumar. Nag somehow manages to convince Akhil to do the movie in the direction of Vikram as he gave a big hit like ‘Manam’ to Akkineni family and recently brought out a hit like ‘24’ with Suriya.
The film is being produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna himself on the banner of Annapurna Studios and is all set to spend a bomb for it. We could understand that Nag had agreed to spend Rs 10 crore on action scenes alone and a Hollywood stunt master who worked for ‘Transporter’ movie was roped in to compose the stunts for Akhil#2 movie. It is already reported that ‘Junnu’ is the title under consideration of the movie.
The names of Megha Akash and Sayesha Saigal were heard as heroines opposite Akhil but there is no official confirmation on them. If sources are to be believed the film would be formally launched on April 3 and the regular shooting would follow from the very same day. Basically the film is said to be a romantic drama with action in its backdrop.
