Governor to address joint sitting of two houses of Legislature on March 10

Hyderabad, March.5: Governor ESL Narasimhan has issued a notification convening the Telangana state Legislative and Council meetings for the Budget session, from March 10.

        Legislature Secretary Dr Raja Sadaram release an order, according to which the Governor will address the joint sitting of both the Houses of Legislature at 10 am on March 10, in the Assembly hall.  The houses would adjourn then.  The Business Advisory Committees of the two houses would meet later and decide on the business of the Houses for the session.

      The Finance Minister Etela Rajender will present the Budget for the year 2017-18 on March 13 in the Assembly, while the Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari will present it in the upper House.

      The legislature secretariat officials have started making arrangements for the session.  Legislature Secretary Dr Sadaram and Joint Secretary Dr Narasimhacharyulu held discussions with the officials and staff members on the arrangements required.
