'Guru' satellite rights fetched good price
Victory Venkatesh's 'Guru' movie completed its a few days ago and is gearing up for release in January 2017. Now, the satellite rights deal of the film was closed.
As per the reports, it was known that Gemini TV bagged the satellite rights for an amount of Rs 5 crores. This is really a decent amount for this film. At the same time, there was news that Venkatesh didn't take any remuneration for this film, instead, he was offered these satellite rights of the movie. Hence Venky earned a decent remuneration in the form of satellite rights of the film.
Directed by Sudha K Prasad, the film is a remake of Tamil movie irudhi suttru where Venkatesh will be seen as a boxing coach in the movie. Ritika Singh is playing the female lead role, music composed by Santosh Narayanan of 'Kabali' fame and it was produced by S. Sashikanth under Y NOT Studios banner.
