IT Raids On TTD Member J.Sekhar
Chennai: Income Tax officials raided TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) member J.Sekhar house at Chennai and reportedly found several key documents relating to assets valued at crores of rupees. Media reports reveal that the total assets would be around Rs 1000cr. A team of 60 IT officials participated in the surprise raids simultaneously on J.Sekhar's friends Prem and Srinivas Reddy's houses. It is said that Rs. 90cr and 100 kilo gold has been found in Sekhar's house. New currency notes worth Rs.70cr was found among the Rs.90cr seized currency. As common man is still suffering to get Rs.2000, its causing a great surprise to see how these big fishes getting such amount of new currency notes. Raids are still going on, more details yet to be known.
