Writ filed in HC for share in TTD income

Hyderabad, Oct.18: A petition was filed in the Hyderabad High Court seeking direction to the TTD to allot Rs 1,000 crore to Telangana State as its share. Chilkuru Balaji temple chief priest Sunder Rajan filed the petition urging the TTD to share Rs 1,000 crore to Telangana as its share. The High Court issued notices to Andhra Pradesh and the Telangana States and adjourned the hearing for three weeks. The petitioner informed the court that Tirupati was part of united Andhra Pradesh. Some share of TTD should be given as members hailing from this State were also from Telangana, he said, adding that some properties also belonged to TTD. He said TTD should give some share to Telangana State for maintaining these properties.
