Land Swapping Deal between TTD and Kanakadurga Temple
The request of Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Devasthanam temple was accepted by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanms (TTD) in Vijayawada. There is a lot of inconveniences caused due to low parking space available at Vijayawada Kanakadurga Temple. To solve this issue, the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Devasthanam urged the support of the TTD and subsequently it is accepted by the TTD. As per the agreement between the two temple boards, the TTD agreed to give 2.10 acre in RS No 123 at Kummaripalem center to Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Devasthanam temple. In Exchange, the TTD will take 2.10 acre in RS No 167, 169 belonging to Durga temple at Gudavalli near Vijayawada. The land swapping deal brokered between the two boards will have the tensions of pilgrims of the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Devasthanam temple.
