Hyderabad, Aug.29: Demanding that the State government conduct the Assembly session at least for 15 days, the Bharatiya Janata Legislature Party (BJLP) has alleged that the TRS government entered into an agreement with Maharashtra unilaterally. There was a need to discuss the issue thoroughly in the Assembly, it stressed.

Speaking to the media at Assembly media point here on Monday, BJLP leader G Kishan Reddy said that the State government had failed to discuss the agreement with Maharashtra, with the Opposition parties, experts, and others. Alleging that the government diverted the input subsidy given by the Centre, Kishan Reddy also demanded that the government conduct Telangana Liberation Day celebrations officially on September 17.

He said there was a need to discuss in the Assembly on the proposals on district reorganization, the problems facing by the farmers due to lack of rain, farmers’ loan waiver, implementation of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bheema Yojana and its implementation in Telangana State.

“Injustice was meted out to the people in the State due to land acquisition taken up by the TRS government, the problems with the redesigning of the projects, Mission Bhagiratha and its tenders allocation, the misuse of Mission Kakathiya funds, double bed room houses scheme implementation, problems in education sector, appointment of vice-chancellors and teaching staff, EAMCET paper leakage, irregularities in engineering colleges admissions, delay in sanction of fees reimbursement, huge collection of fees in private colleges, lack of funds to Arogya Sree scheme, SC/ST Sub Plan implementation, contract, temporary, outsourcing employees’ regularization and filling of government vacant posts.

Kishan Reddy said his party MLAs would proceed towards Assembly after garlanding Sardar Vallabhai Patel statue and carrying national flags.
