TRS slams Congress “dual talk” on projects

Sat, Aug 27, 2016, 07:36 PM
Hyderabad, Aug.27: TRS leaders Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and B Venkateshwarlu today lashed out at the Opposition for its comments on irrigation projects.

Talking to mediapersons at Telangana Bhavan here on Saturday, the TRS leaders accused the Congress leaders of resorting to mud-slinging on the government on signing the pact with Maharashtra. While the people are welcoming the pact, the Congress was indulging in a foolish talk, they alleged. The Congress leaders with 10 heads were talking in multiple tongues, they charged. While CLP leader K Jana Reddy admitted that no pact was signed during their regime for 152 mt tall project on Tummidihatti, the Congress leaders like Utham Kumar Reddy and Shabbir Ali were making false comments, they said. “If they have any proof in this regard, they should come out and accept the challenge thrown by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao”, the TRS leaders suggested.

The Congress and TDP regimes had failed to complete the projects resulting in pathetic conditions in the State, they said. “It is also well-known that the Congress encouraged street rowdies and goons. Though the Centre has asked the State Government to conduct Assembly session for passing the GST Bill, BJPLP leader G Kishan Reddy was making vague comments on the same, they deplored.
