Hyderabad, Aug.25: Daring Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to order a CBI inquiry into his allegations, former MP Madhu Yashki Goud said the Congress leaders were not afraid of Chief Minister’s threats.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan along with TPCC official spokesperson K Mahesh here on Thursday, Yashki said the Congress will prove corruption of the TRS government and “will send the Chief Minister, his son KT Ramarao, daughter K Kavitha and nephew T Harish Rao to jail”. He alleged that KCR and Harish Rao were “looting” the State in the name of agreement with Maharashtra State.

Finding fault with KCR for criticizing the Congress on irrigation projects, Yashki asked KCR and Harish Rao what they did when they were ministers in the State and the Centre. He said TRS MP Vinod and MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao were impleaded in the case when he filed a case on Babli project. He asked the Chief Minister why he failed to question about the illegal projects constructed by the Maharashtra government across Godavari river during his “Maha” Agreement.

Reminding that the Congress got nine permissions for Pranahitha-Chevella project at the height of 152 meters, Yashki said the Chief Minister failed to say what he achieved by entering into an agreement with the Maharashtra government. Questioning the Chief Minister as to why he was not giving detailed project report (DPR) of the redesigned projects, Yashki alleged that Irrigation Minister Harish Rao threatened the contractors from the Andhra Pradesh State. “The Chief Minister too asked contractors five percent commission”, he alleged and said the TRS government was giving contracts to his henchmen.

Finding fault with KCR’s threats, Yashki reminded Supreme Court remarks against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha for filing cases against the Opposition party leaders for criticizing the government, Yashki said KCR should remember India is a democratic country.
