The Minister maintained that as many as 25000 double bedroom houses would be built in 78 colonies for the purpose. Construction of the houses will be started as soon as the tenders process is completed he stated.

Quality will be maintained for the construction of these houses which will remain a model for the future plans to build houses, he remarked. He also claimed that the Telangana is only the state in India to take up such housing plan for the slum dwellers and the poor.

Referring to roads comprising pits and potholes causing havoc to the road users and vehicles he said that they have seized off the matter. By next rainy season these all problems will be addressed he added. Mayor B Rammohan, Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy were present in the review meeting.
