Three perish in well to save goat
A goat was the cause of the death of three people at Ghatampur in Kanpur district in Uttar Pradesh recently. The goat fell into a deep well. Its owner Yadav's brother-in-law jumped into the well to rescue the goat. But he did not come out for long. Then Yadav and his brother also took the plunge. They also did not come out for a long time. No more people tried to find out what had happened. They called the police. The police checked the well and found the well was emitting poisonous gases. As a result, the three had died. Goat is a sacrificial animal, but fate sometimes turns the tables.
