Yadav & Bhushan form new party Swaraj Abhiyan

The breakaway AAP group of Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan on Monday converted their Swaraj Abhiyan into a political party. They said they had to do so owing to pressure by the majority of the Abhiyan delegates to the extent of 93%. They would be starting the party formally on October 2, Mahatma Gandhi's Jayanti. The new party announcement was made amid slogans of `Inquilab Zindabad, Bharat Mata ki Jai and Vandemataram.' The leaders said that it would be an alternative party, obviously to AAP, which is falling into bad ways with its leaders and Mlas getting arrested by the dozen, mainly for crimes against women. Of the 433 abhiyan delegates, 405 put pressure on the outfit to turn itself into a political party. Now the party will also be called by the same name of Swaraj Abhiyan. Both Yogendra Yadav and Prashnat Bhushan was booted out of the party when they resisted the dictatorial ways of AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal.
