Raghuveera blames secret TDP-BJP deal for denial of SCS

Sat, Jul 30, 2016, 04:42 PM
There is an automatic realignment of political forces in the State following the Centre unabashedly denying the promised Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh.

On Saturday, the Congress fully supported the bandh call given by the YCP for August 2 in the entire State. PCC president M. Raghuveera Reddy backed the bandh call.

Addressing a media meeting in Anantpur, Raghuveera hoped the bandh called by the YCP would be a success.

Raghuveera alleged that a secret deal between the BJP and the ruling TDP had resulted in the Centre denying the promised SCS for AP.

He pointed out that all the TDP MPs were only focused on raising the number of assembly constituencies in the State. Had they been equally focused on the SCS, it would have been a reality by now.
