Techie from city stabbed to death in Austin by room-mate

A software engineer from the city working in the US, Sankeerth, was stabbed to death by his room-mate, Sai Sandeep Gaud, also from Hyderabad, in Austin early Sunday, reports said. A report in Statesman in Austin said that the police had encountered two men attempting to carry an injured man into a car at Colonial village in North Austin. The injured sustained a stab wound in the abdomen. Austin Travis County medics arrived at the scene and got him admitted to the Round Rock Hospital, where he later died. A few hours later the police officers charged Sai Sandeep Goud Kurremula, 27, with murder in connection with Sankeerth's death. Sai Sandeep has been charged with stabbing the victim to death. Sankeerth belonged to Kacheguda in the city. Both room-mates attended a weekend party where the murder took place.
