Hubby lays himself on rail tracks as wife is bound for Saudi
A vexed husband who did not want his wife to go to Saudi Arabia and earn money made an attempt to end his life in Kamalapuram in Cuddapah on Wednesday. The husband, Babasaheb, had pleaded with his wife time and again not to go to Saudi and stay put, but his wife would not listen. To put an end to his grief over her move, the distraught husband went to the nearest railway track and slept on it, even as the people tried to stop him. Since he was not listening to them, the people thought it would be better to stop the train instead, which they did. They averted a tragedy, but it was not known whether Babasaheb's Saudi-bound wife canceled her plans.
