TG Venkatesh had fears about split, but now feels reassured

The newly-elected Rajya Sabha TDP MP, TG Venkatesh, confessed that he was afraid of the split of the combined Andhra Pradesh and feared the worst. He had the fear of the unknown prior to the split. But after the split, as the two States were progressing, he had no fears anymore. Speaking in Arya Vysya International Mahasabha in Karimnagar, Venkatesh said separate Telangana and Andhra agitations were now like film episodes. You forget the whole thing after you come out of the theatre. So there was no need to recollect those agitations. Now that both Telangana and Andhra were marching ahead, the cinema was over, he added. Telangana Finance Minister Eatela Rajender also participated in the Vysya Mahasabha. He said Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao's concern was the welfare of all in Telangana. He called upon Arya Vysayas to enter politics. Another minister c. Lakshma Reddy also participated in the Mahasabha.
