Modi feels at home in Pretoria

The touring Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, feels at home in South Africa. He said on Friday that it was not as if he was touring South Africa. It was as if he was at home in the country. Paying tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela, he said it was a great opportunity for him to do so for the great leaders who fought for their country. Mahatma Gandhi fought against racialism in South Africa and inspired Nelson Mandela as well. Modi is on a four-nation tour of Africa. Addressing the media in Pretoria, the Prime Minister said for tackling internationally evolving problems there should be an international struggle for solutions. He thanked the South African government for extending its cooperation for the entry of India in the Nuclear Suppliers Group.
