Central security warns of Al Quaida blasts in the country

Fri, Jul 08, 2016, 12:30 PM
Central security agencies have warned that Al Quaida was planning bomb blasts in a big way in the country and asked all the State governments to be alert to prevent bombings.

Recently, the National Investigation Agency carried out large-scale raids in Old City and rounded up terrorists engaged in the making of binary weapons. These are innocuous chemicals when separatated but when mixed with other chemicals they become deadly, more powerful than conventional explosives.

Singificantly, the relatives of the terrorists had stated that for mere paint remover and chemicals like ammonium nitrate and such other common chemicals the youths were being arrested. But families rarely keep chemcials at homes.

Just about coinciding with the Hyderabad arrests, there were bomb attacks in Dhaka and Kishorganj in Bangladesh and also in Iraq.

Five of the Hyderabad terrorists are at present in NIA custody in Hyderabad. At least eight other suspects have been let off in the Old City.

The Central security agencies have stated that Al Quaida was preparing for deadly hits all over.
