KTR charge of EODB info theft false, says AP adviser

Wed, Jul 06, 2016, 05:48 PM
Andhra Pradesh Government’s Media Advisor Parakala Prabhakar on Wedneseday condemned the allegations leveled by Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao that they have stolen some information of the Telangana government, and said it was a baseless accusation.

Addressing a press conference at Secretariat in Hyderabad, Prabhakar denied that they have stolen information from the Telangana government website. He alleged that KTR has ridiculed himself by writing a letter of complaint to Union Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitaraman and filing cases against the AP Government.

The Telangana Government is trying to malign our rankings in ‘ease of doing business’, he said. `Our web portal has made 9000 transactions so far and no state government made such complaints on the others so far,' he said.

The AP government which got second rank last year at national level was all set to get the first rank now, he claimed. Prabhakar alleged that only to belittle our government, KTR made such comments as Telangana ranking was 13.

It is wrong to say that they have stolen the information as the servers of the two governments are different and content is totally confidential. If that is the case, the Telangana Government should have hacked our website to make false allegations, Dr Prabhakar contended.

He further said that KTR is talking without proper information which is surprising. KTR should react on the issue as we have disproved that there is no truth in the allegations, he added.
