Kasab got legal aid, why not Hyderabad boys, asks MIM

Responding to the growing criticism over his assurance of legal aid to the terror suspects in Hyderabad, Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen president Asaduddin Owaisi said on Wednesday reasoned that when Pakistan terrorist, Kasab, was given legal aid, what was wrong in offering legal aid for the Hyderabadi boys arrested by the National Investigation Agency? Asaduddin pointed out that he was on the hit-list of the ISIS as well as Bajrang Dal. Talking to a Telugu channel, he said there was no truth in the charge that he wanted to grow as a country-wide Muslim leader and hence he was doing such things as offering legal aid to terror suspects. He said he would abide by his promise of legal aid to the terror suspects. The MIM had been opposed to ISIS Caliphate-type of grandstanding in Muslim countries.
