Student Sena demands split of High Court

South India Student Sena (SISS) honorary president Prof. Gali Vinod Kumar has demanded that the Centre immediately divide the Hyderabad High Court and appoint native Judges in respect of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States. Speaking to the media in Hyderabad on Saturday, Vinod Kumar said it was not correct on the part of State and Central governments to make the sensitive issue as controversial. He demanded that the Centre divide the High Court along with setting up of Supreme Court bench in South India. He said there were pending cases in lakhs in South India and setting up of a Special Bench would be the only solution to clear the mounting arrears. The SISS Telangana in-charge B Govind, Greater Hyderabad in-charge B Srinivas and others were present.
