Hyderabad, June 30: In the wake of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao took up the issue of high court bifurcation with the Centre and writing a letter to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh besides threatening to take up a massive protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, Andhra Pradesh Government, of late, reacted on the contentious turned issue.

A.P Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishna Murthy today said that the Centre should settle the issue by calling a meeting of Chief Ministers of Telugu States before the issue turned worse from bad. The Deputy Chief Minister maintained that they are not averse to the bifurcation of the high court as per AP Reorganisation Act.

Our Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has already sought the Centre through a letter seeking the new high court and funds for its construction he said. He denied the comments that they are against the division of the high court.

We have already asked the Centre to bifurcate the high court and also shown place for the same near Amaravati to a Delhi team he claimed. However, the Telangana Government is creating a sort of pandemonium on the issue which is not good he deplored.
