Goa rulers behind drug mafia, sex tourism: Kejriwal

Am Aadmi Party leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday fired the first salvo in the run-up to the Goa elections by charging the state rulers with turning the tourism paradise into one of drug-smuggling and ***** tourism. He said the present rulers were responsible for the sad state of affairs in Goa in an oblique reference to the BJP. Kejriwal alleged that the fair name of Goa was being tarnished by the present rulers. Despite the bad publicity, the rulers were acting as if all was well. Touring Goa, he held discussions with businessmen and hoteliers, among others. Kejriwal said it was necessary to curb the practices that were bringing in a bad name for Goa. In the run-up to the Assembly elections in the State, AAP will be starting `Goa Dialogues' for involving a cross-section of the people. The AAP manifesto will be based on these discussions.
