TRS Govt Gave a Rs.5000 Cr Addl Burden Gift to People-Ravula

Hyderabad, June 27: TDP senior leader Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy today said the TRS government after two years of its rule, has given gift of hike in electricity charges and RTC fares to the people of the state.

In a media conference, he said by increasing electricity charges and RTC fares, the government has put a burden of Rs 5,000 crore on the public as a gift.

He said chief minister Chandrasekhar Rao at an iftar party yesterday has said that his government would send a resolution to the centre increasing 12 per cent reservation to Muslims in the state. But the TRS party in its election manifesto in page number 19 had already promised 12 per cent reservation to Muslims. Does it not mean washing-off his hands and misleading Muslims, just by sending resolutions to the centre on their reservation, he questioned.

KCR had said that he will cut his head if he failed to fulfill his promises. We do not know how many heads KCR had, Ravula said.

Referring to Mallannasagar project, he said TDP is not against irrigation projects, but it is against corruption in the name of projects.
