13 AP Departments shifted to Capital Region

While the Andhra Pradesh staff rushing in from Hyderabad is mounting, the State government on Monday planned to inaugurate 13 departments in the new Andhra capital region.
The offices are being located haphazardly in whatever bungalow is available whether it public or private, but the deadline of June 27 set by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for the shift of the Secretariat was being stuck to.
The Panchayati Raj Commissioner office is being opened in the old Charitasri Hospital building on Nakkala Road in Vijayawada.
Village Development office is being opened on GPR Street at Marutinagar, Tribal Welfare office in a plaza in the same street, Panchayati Raj Chief Engineer office in the ZP Office opposite PWD Grounds. All these office are to be inaugurated by Minister Ayyanapatrudu.
The Prohibition and Excise Commissioner officer will be opened in a rented building at Prasadampadu. The offices of the AP Breweries Managing Director and Directorate of Enforcement and Excise will be located in the same building. Minister concerned Kollu Ravindra will inaugurate the offices.
The Roads and Buildings Office at Gollapudi will be inaugurated by Minister Ayyanapatrudu. In the same area, the Technical Education office will be opened by Minister Ganta Srinivas Rao. Bus Bhavan will be opened at Pandit Nehru Bus Station.
