Babu bound for China to bring in investment

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will lead a 13-member delegation to China starting from Saturday to attract investments. This visit will tap the potential of Sino-Indian economic relationship as well as regional cooperation.

The Chief Minister will depart from New Delhi and reach Hong Kong in the early hours of Sunday. From Hong Kong, he will reach Tianjin at 2.05 pm (local time).

During his five-day visit to China, the AP Chief Minister will meet chiefs of various business icons and leading companies in chemical manufacturing, online rental services, pharmaceuticals, electronics and renewable energy, including Sarita Nayyar, Managing Director, World and leading Economic Forum, USA, and Prof. Kalub Schwab, Chairman’s office, MCC.

On June 28, the Chief Minister will travel to Guiyang, the capital of the Guizhou Province in the South-West China where he will visit Guiyang Urban Planning Exhibition Museum, Guiyang International Eco-conference Centre and the Headquarters of GICC.

Next day, the Chief Minister and his team will meet leaders of Guizhou Province in IC Centre. An agreement of Sister State relationship between Guizhou and Andhra Pradesh is the on cards.

On the final day of the Chief Minister’s tour, Naidu will be attending a road show for the promotion of investment activities in Andhra Pradesh.

On the return flight, the Chief Minister along with his team will leave for Hong Kong at midday (local time) and from Hong Kong will reach New Delhi in the late hours of June 30. From New Delhi, he would reach Vijayawada in the wee hours of the next day.

Last year, on April 12, the Chief Minister and his team left for China, where he pitched for investments in Andhra Pradesh in the energy and manufacturing sectors.

The Chief Minister will be accompanied by Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Municipal Administration & Urban Development Minister P. Narayana, Advisor (Communications) Dr Parakala Prabhakar, Managing Director of CCDMC Lakshmi Parthasarathy, Principal Secretary CMO G. Sai Prasad, Principal Secretary Environment & Forest Dr P V Ramesh, Principal Secretary Energy, Infrastructure and Investment Department Ajay Jain, CEO-Economic Development Board J. Krishna Kishore, Secretary Industries Solomon Arokiaraj, Officer Economic Development Board Vivek Kar and Mallikarjun Rao, Officer, Infrastructure and Government Services, KPMG Erchit Sood and Regional Director CII Jyothi Kumar.
