TTD to ensure more students in its Vedic schools

With an aim to promote, propagate and preserve the Vedas, the TTD has made some changes for the students who are willing to join the vedic schools run by the Devasthanam across the Telugu states.

A review meeting was held with the officers concerned in his chambers in the TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Monday by the TTD EO, Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

The EO said the TTD is running Veda pathashalas in Keesaragutta, Nalgonda, Chilkuru, Bheemavaram, Vijayanagaram, Kotappakonda apart from Dharmagiri in Tirumala.

The EO reviewed the admission process, conduct of exams, syllabus, strength of students in each Vedic school. Later he instructed the officials concerned to release the notification for admissions to these vedic schools again to encourage more number of students to take up Vedic studies.

The EO also reviewed on the courses being offered in SV Vedic University and discussed elaborately with VC Prof KE Devanathan.

The JEOs, KS Sreenivasa Raju, P Bhaskar, Additional FACAO O Balaji and other officers were present.
