AP to Hold Five Weeks lab Sessions from Today

Hyderabad, June 19: Moving forward with the aspiration of transforming Andhra Pradesh State into a happy, inclusive, responsible, globally competitive and innovation-driven society, the Government of Andhra Pradesh is holding five weeks lab sessions for a second wave of Governance and Urban Development sectors from June 20 to August 5 with two weeks break in-between.

The lab sessions will be facilitated by Vision Management Unit (VMU), Planning Department along with Malaysia’s Performance Management and Delivery Unit. K.E. Krishna Murthy, Deputy Chief Minister, and Anil Chandra Punetha, CCLA & Spl. CS will together inaugurate the lab sessions at Marri Channa Reddy Human Resource Development Institute (MCHRD), Jubilee Hills here.

The lab sessions will be attended by more than 200people from the Key line departments and stakeholders from NGO’s, think tanks, civil societies and private sector.
The lab sessions aim to analyse, discuss, debate and bring out deliverable outcomes which will be implemented by concerned departments.

The Vision Management Unit (VMU) set up under Planning Department of Andhra Pradesh Government will bring the required strategic focus and play a critical role in leading and handholding the Labs implementation process. The unit will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure that outcomes are realized through strategic focus and sustained manner.
