Eknath Khadse had to quit because of AAP dummy

Sat, Jun 11, 2016, 12:27 PM
Mahrashtra Minister Eknath Khadse, who resigned last week, is about to get clean chit in connection with the charge that he had received calls from underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's landline in Karachi.

The Anti-Terrorism Squad of the Mumbai police had checked the call data records and found nothing significant against Khadse so far.

The Crime Branch aready said that there was no substance in this charge against Khadse that he had received calls from Dawood, as alleged by the Aam Admi Party (AAP).

Now the Home Department of Maharashtra said it had gone into the charge and was finalising its report in favour of Khadse.

The ATS had summoned Gujarat-based ethical hacker Manish Bhangale, who claimed to have obtained the records of a Pakistani telecom firm, for questioning last week. But he did not turn up.

Bhangale had moved the Bombay High Court seeking a CBI probe, which would be heard on June 14.
