Thanks to Babu AP tops in energy efficiency, says Piyush Goyal

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has been ranked No 1 in the country in the Energy Efficiency area as per the report of the committee headed by Managing Director of the Energy Efficiency agency, Minister for Energy Piyush Goyal said on Saturday. Perhaps no other Chief Minister in India is so keen, intense and passionate about energy efficiency related pro-public initiatives than Chandrababu Naidu, commented Goyal at the International Dialogue ahead of the Indo-US ministerial dialogue. In a yet another significant development, the Andhra Pradesh government shot into fame and won accolades, prestige and honor on a global platforms for its achievements in implementing various Energy Efficiency measures. It has once again got acknowledgements and appreciation from the Indo-US Ministerial dialogue. Participating in the discussions held in Washington ahead of the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the US, the Minister of State for Coal, Power & Renewable Energy stated that Andhra Pradesh under the leadership of its visionary Chief Minister had brought laurels and glory to the Nation in the implementation of Energy Efficiency measures. AP has become a frontrunner in India, he added. As per the report submitted by the Central Government committee, the success of AP in EE revolution could be attributed to commitment and passion of the Chief Minister.
