Following the TDP government resolve that temporary Secretariat at Velagapudi should start full-fledged work from June 27, the AP government staff in Hyderabad had been told to move lock, stock and barrel by June 20 itself. They should come from Hyderabad with chairs, tables, ACs a week in advance and install it on their own so as to start full-fledged work by the deadline of June 27.

The AP staff in Hyderabad had been told that installation of the infrastructure is their own responsibility, but they should be in a position to start full-fledged work from June 27 under any circumstances.

They could take the help of the District Collectors of Krishna and Guntur districts in this regard.

If the AP staff find that the premises coming up at Velgapudi is not sufficient for their departmental purposes, the section heads of each department are at liberty to engage themselves in private buildings. They could lease buildings in Guntur district. But in any case, they should start work by June 27.

Another stipulation the government had put was that the private buildings should be within the jurisdiction of the Capital Regional Develolopment Authority. That is the government offices in private buildings should be withinn the Vijayada-Guntur cities. The Departmental Heads could lease private buildings for a period of 3 years in each case.

All the commissionerates and directorates passed the June 27 deadline orders to the respective offices coming under them on Wednesday.
