Everything right about Om, says Salma Ansari
What's wrong in saying Om, asks Salma Ansari, wife of Vice-President Hamid Ansari. Talking to newsmen on Monday morning, Salma said Om, Allah, Anna or Rab all refer to the same God. So there's everything right in saying Om. To have faith in God matters. You may call Him by any name. There need be no differences in saying Om. Salma Ansari called yoga for all. The Centre has urged the people to start this yoga day by saying Om. Naturally the unthinking opposition has already refuted it. Salman significantly said if I had not learned yoga, some of my bones would have been hurting me now. Om is chanted by opening the lips, taking the lips to the maximum possible and then closing them again. This means any word uttered in this world is within the limits set by Om. Hence the Hindus believe all the words of the world are within Om. And Om is word of God.
