Dy CM takes objection to Harish remark

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishnamurthy on Tuesday said in Kurnool that Telangana Major Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao's remark that those interfering with his State's projects would be beaten and chased away as unbecoming of a minister. Krishnamurthy was referring to YCP leader Jaganmohan Reddy's `Jaladeeksha' in Kurnool that drew Harish's ire. The Deputy Chief Minister asked Harish as to where was the sanction for the Palamuru-Rangareddy and Dindi projects, against which Jagan was agitating. If you have the permission, please show it to us, he said. Trying to attack two birds with one stone, the Deputy Chief Minister, at the same time, said the leader who started the river waters controversy was actually the late YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Also, it was not fair on the part of Jagan to claim that Rayalaseema would turn a desert. In fact, Jagan had gone to the extent of saying that not only Rayalaseema but also the Krishna delta would turn into a desert if Telangana projects were to take off. The Deputy Chief Minister was speaking in Kurnool where Jagan was undertaking the fast.
