China amassing troops on Indian borders: Pentagon

Pentagon has warned India that China is amassing its troops on the borders with India and also increasing permanent camps there. Besides, China is also sending in more troops to its army bases in friendly countries such as Pakistan. American Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defence Abraham Denmark said in Washington that the Pentagon had witnessed `force posture' on the border with India. This was announced in its annual 2016 report that the Pentagon submitted to the US Congress on the `Military and Security Developments Involving People's Republic of China.' China is said to be expanding its international economic interests, for which it is amassing troops in its bases, particularly Pakistan. India has 4057-kilometre border with China, and claims the whole of Arunachal Pradesh as part of Tibet, and hence part of China as it occupied the Buddhist country.
